The PREMIUM PEARL assortment is the most valuable pearls assortment we have ever offered. It includes high grade Akoya Pearl, and Edison Pearls. The Akoya Pearls have been cultured for a minimum of 2 years, while the Edison are from a different pearl farm, and are cultured for at least 5 years.

There are LOTS of twins, and the pearls that are in the twins are usually the size of a normal single pearl. There are also LOTS of bigger akoya pearls that range from 8-9mm in size. The Edison Pearl are what separates this assortment. They are mixed into this assortment. The mix is 3 Edison Pearls to every 20 Akoya Pearls. We recommend to buy these in packs of at least 8 to ensure you get at least 1 Edison Pearl. All of the pearls in this assortment are completely natural colors, so there are only whites, pinks, and purples.

The Premium Pearl Assortment is something truly special. We work with multiple pearl farms that culture different kinds of pearls, and buy the very best oysters they have that have been cultured from 2 to 5 years. The pictures are representations of the different pearls you could potentially find in the Premium Pearl Assortment.  The pearls are only natural colored pearls. There are the best quality Akoya Pearls, with the Edison Pearls mixed in. The large pearls at the top of the display are the Edison Pearls. They can measure between 10-12mm in size. They are mixed into the premium Akoya Pearl assortment, with a 1 and 8 chance to get an Edison Pearl. The Edison Pearls have been cultured for 5 years, and are very valuable. 

If you don't get an Edison Pearl, please know that the Akoya Pearls are cultured from 24 to 36 months and they turn out beautifully! Because of how long they have been cultured, they turn out larger than the other pearls. Even the twins are larger than normal. 

IMPORTANT - Edison Pearl are the only pearls that will fit in the pendants listed as 14MM Sterling Silver Pendants. They will not fit in any other pendants.
